Aussie Lock vs no locker Jeep TJs

I would say the no locker TJ did pretty good on the rocks!

Surprise Lake past Carbonado up the Carbon River valley a ways past Evans Creek ORV park.

This looks like a cool trail to go wheeling on.

Check the video out.

« on: April 11, 2017, 10:15:19 PM »
Removed the rear torque bar in my 95 YJ!

Rides so much better now. Should have done this a year ago when
I installed my lift.  :)

Was a pain to get out but well worth it!

Jeep Write-ups / MML Jeep YJ 4 Cyl with no body lift
« on: April 04, 2017, 10:24:54 PM »
Just finished installing a MML into my YJ. I have no body lift so I had to modify
the rad fan shroud. Not very hard to do. It took about 4 hours to because I
had a broken motor mount on the drivers side.

Here's a pic of the MML spacer on the passengers side.

Here's a pic of the fan shroud I had to modify. I just cut out an area
around the top rad hose so i could move the shroud an inch higher.

This took care of most of my driveline vibration. :)

I think it was better than doing a tcase drop.

Cheers,
Jay

Here's my Jeep YJ. It's a 95 with a wimpy 4 Cylinder, 2.5 inch RC lift and 31 inch Maxxis tires.

Cheers,
